Frost, Again

I thought
That I escaped
Time's bitter
Frost when I
Jumped timelines,
Ran away from cruel
Hearts plotting
Their plans.

I imagined
A foreign land
With its strange faces
And strange voices
Will soothe my
Estranged Soul; these foreign
Men in foreign
Clothes
Were supposed to save
Me.

I tried to dodge
My past's biting
Frost. But,
You see,
Life had a different
Plan for me.

Tired and
Desperate for my
Share of respite,
I had finally
Knocked on
A door of a Warmth
Whose home was in
A frosty place,
With frosty stories to tell
And
Frost-laden memories
To share.

And I knew that it was
Frost, again,
For me.
